FaceBook

For the month of March the society is running a series of posts by writers who have set their historical fiction in Devon or Cornwall.

On 1 April our new series will look at the legacies of historians, archivists, curators and librarians in writing the history of the two counties.

All of our FB series’ posts are also appearing as text on our website.

Milles Project

All 87 parishes in our first phase are being transcribed and are being placed on the members’ area of the society’s website.

2021 & 2022 volumes

This year’s publication is an edition of James Davidson’s church notes of East Devon, early 1800s, which has been edited by Jill Cobley. Our 2022 volume will be the third in our series of parish tax payers.
