The group was formed in 1996 by a group of enthusiasts eager to record and preserve features and information about our parish.
The group investigates and records details of our local past, preserves e.g. the Galmpton Lime Kiln and the Broadsands Tomb, provides information about the history and wildlife in the Galmpton Creek area, and exhibits data annually at the Gooseberry Pie Fair in Galmpton every July.
