The Council of the DHS are considering simplifying the membership structure. Our existing membership fees have been in place since 2012 and it is felt that now is an appropriate time to update them. They have given their initial support to having just three categories of membership:

- a) Individual
- b) Affiliated societies
- c) Non-affiliated societies and institutions
They are also suggesting a uniform membership rate of £20.00 per year.
Please note that existing Life Members will retain their membership status.
If possible Council would like to move in this direction for the next membership year (May 2022). Before this, they would welcome feedback on these proposals. It would be helpful if you could do so by 1 December 2021 to enable Council to consider them at their December meeting.
