The Society was formed in 2004 with a broad remit about the Parish: from archaeology to buildings, industries, social history and natural history. We always have projects in progress in which members are encouraged to participate. We hold 4 general meetings a year (open to all), with a guest speaker, and we also arrange visits to places of interest during the summer months.
