The group’s objectives are to:
· Establish and maintain a physical archive of materials and copies of materials relating to the history of Kilmington.
· Produce a catalogue of the materials in our archive and in other collections.
· Transcribe and/or scan the materials into digital format wherever possible as part of a dedicated website.
· Build and maintain a dedicated database and website so that material is easily available to interested parties.
· Encourage, support and share research into the history of Kilmington and to promote activities related to this research.
The group organises some social events to share information and hear from residents who can help with research.
