The Fremington Heritage and History group recognised Barn Conversion 2 as Rushmead Cottage, Fremington, circled in red on the OS 25 inch map section below published in 1890.
The cottage may have been on land belonging to Beard’s Farm, to the north, which is now modern housing (Beard’s Road). See the newspaper article below.
