The Poltimore Estate Research Society (PERS) works to support the Poltimore House Trust by researching and presenting the histories of the house and grounds, and those of the community around it, during its many phases as a gentleman’s residence, an educational establishment and a nursing home and hospital.
Research work already undertaken, chiefly through the Exeter University Poltimore Community and Landscape Project, as well as forthcoming events featuring local history, can be found on the website.
